WTF. Shakira's song Waka Waka is the theme song for the world cup. Are you serious? K'naan's song Wavin' flag is sooooo much better. It has a great meaning and unites the people. Wavin flag relates more to football than Shakiras crappy song. K'naan's song is easy to sing along and is just beautiful. If you watched the 2010 world cup kickoff concert, the crowd kept singing even after k'naan left. Personally, I think k'naan's performance should have been last.

K'naan should have sung more songs in the concert. Shakira sucks. K'NAAN.

I like this song actually. I didn't know who sang it though, cuz I thought at first that K'naan remade someone else's song. Lots of things are better than Shakira though.

Shakira's music has declined significantly and it has started with this recent album she has put out. Every single she has released from this album is garbage (including Waka Waka). I think she has lost her touch completely from Whatever, Whenever...I used to love her songs...not so much now.

With that being said...I agree with you wholeheartedly Koolish. Waving Flag is much more applicable but oh well.
