| Could you guys list 20 of the best players in the league currently in order? I have never heard RBT users opinions and thought's in a long time, and that's how I learn and get better at knowledge, learning from others, so could you please say why they were listed as so? |

| LeBron.... not a big fan but game recognizes game... so that why I list him at... #2
1. Kobe. Has one of the best teams in the league yet still puts up career avg. numbers with minimal drop. Will step on your grandmothers back to get a rebound and would field goal kick a newborn baby into puberty to win a game.
2. LeBron. All sorts of tools and skills. Insane numbers. Only 25. Don't know if he's got that killer mentality. Overrated defender IMO, but still a solid help defender nonetheless.
3. Wade. Crap team that no superstar wants to be a part of. Yet there he is dragging his scrubs with him to the playoffs. Udonis Haslem excluded. He probably has to work harder than any superstar to get a victory.
4. Durant. Super scorer. Took a super sub .500 team and brought them to the playoffs. Cares about his teammates and coach and most important... actually like living and playing in OKC.
5. Carmelo Anthony. Big time scorer who has improved on defense and has a injury prone team. Can rebound and pass but not as much as I'd like him to. Shows up for big games even if his team can't pull it out.
6. Deron Williams/Chris Paul. Players don't lose starting spots when they return from injury as should be the case for Chris Paul's ranking... In this case Deron took it. I think he is the best pure point guard in the NBA. He's big. Hits big shots. Can defend. Rebound. If Jason Kidd had a jump shot he'd be Deron Williams. Paul is like a re-imagining of Isiah Thomas. A small dude who can produce huge numbers, and plays bigger than his size. This will be a battle between the two for years to come.
7. Tim Duncan. Predicable on offense, yet still gets his points over a growing staple of faster, younger, more athletic players. He could have the steepest drop among my top ten... but then again he could prove everyone wrong by doing what he's done every season. Be consistent. Still a force in the paint and a shot blocker and solid rebounder.
8. Dirk Diggler. Same as Duncan. Super consistent and a gamer. If he ever had a good center and a solid 2 guard his ringless situation might not be a situation. For what it's worth he's taken a beating by the press and by the fans as being soft or a choker. I don't say/think that unless a certain Maverick fan is being annoying. He has had some stinker games... but what player hasn't *cough* Kobe*cough*6-24 *cough*...
9. Dwight Howard. Still need to lose his smile. I'd love to see Dwight get a mean streak... or at least a facial expression that would intimidate me in a dark alley. I'd also like to see him really really really commit to learning the offensive side of the game. It's rare when you have a player that it so effective on the defensive end and with so many physical gifts that you have to make him want the ball more on offense. If he ever gets consistent on O... Scary. Also... learn to pass w/o turning the ball over, but I guess that fits under the learn offense category.
10. Nash. Too high? Probably. But I love how his teammates rally around him and how he makes shots for his teammates sooo much easier. If he ever had the mentality to take over the game he'd be a lot higher. Hell, he probably would've seen a Finals game by now. He is a leader. A great teammate and has more flash than any point in the league.
I'm writing too much... have get back to work... sorry Rush.
11. Pau Gasol 12. Chris Bosh 13. Amar'e Stoudemire 14. Brandon Roy 15. Rajon Rondo 16. Derrick Rose 17. Paul Pierce 18. Carlos Boozer 19. Joe Johnson 20. Yao Ming... Don't sleep on Yao.

Yeah I would have him ranked higher... it's just been a while and he hasn't been very active. At least Paul played some this year. I had to give guys who played this year a bit higher ranking. |

| I also count the Play-offs, regural season doesnt matter that much to me.
1. Kobe Bryant, i have my doubts though, he didnt play very well in the Finals. 2. LeBron James, if it wasn't for his team-mates he might have won the chip. 3. Dwight Howard, played great vs Celtics, his team-mates couldn't step up. 4. Dwayne Wade, no help from his team-mates, great player. 5. Kevin Durant, brough OKC "by hand" to the Play-offs and won 2 games vs the Champs. 6. Deron Williams, superb season perf, he just couldn't get it done against the LA, damn sweep?. 7. Steve Nash, Stivi player great in the season and Play-offs, but i couldn't rank him higher. 8.Carmelo Anthony, great player, but couldn't step up and lead the team to the 2nd round w/o the Coach. 9. Dirk Nowitzki, great player, huge choker. 10. Rajon Rondo, he should have been in the MVP rankings imo, at least 10th. 11. Brandon Roy 12. Pau Gasol 13. Tim Duncan/Kevin Garnett, Tim had a great regural season but KG beasted in the Play-offs..ask Beasley, Jamison, Rashard and Gasol. 15. Chris Bosh 16. Amare Stoudamire 17. Paul Pierce 18. Derick Rose 19. Chauncey Billups 20. Chris Paul, because of his injury, he barely played.
