Brandon Jennings established himself as one of the NBA’s top young guards last season, but that wasn’t enough for him to get invited to try out for the U.S. world championship team like fellow rookies Tyreke Evans and Stephen Curry. Jennings thinks he knows one of the factors why. Evans and Curry both wear Nike, Team USA’s big sponsor. Jennings wears Under Armour shoes. “It’s not my call. That’s on them,” Jennings told Yahoo! Sports. “But if you want to get technical about it and you really want to look at it, half of the guys there are Nike guys. I’m not saying it’s a Nike thing, but Nike is kind of running a lot of things right now. To have a guy like myself on the USA team that’s flashy and really outgoing, you don’t want Under Armour to get all that [publicity]. “I’m just telling you how it is.” Yahoo! Sports

i see the bucks being another darkhorse team this year of the east
and since durant is more... "known" he wont be suprising this year
everyone is expecting it...

but with the bucks aquiring Chris Douglas Roberts, Magette etc. and Bogut healthy
is it fair to say the nba should 'FEAR THE DEER' again come 2010-11 season?

Jennings is walking the line of becoming disliked by a lot of people. He's going after Nike - one of the biggest influences on basketball outside the NBA, and now he's challenging the NBA itself. I like it, but I don't want him to actually get to the arrogant side of things.

Jennings does not deserve to be on the USA team...we all saw how much he struggled to play against Europeans. I don't see what his point is. There's no Nike bias. Curry and Evans are just better than him.

He deserved an invite. He's every bit as good as Curry or Evans.

I know I'm the new guy and all, but can you try to go easy on me? Brandon Jennings is good, but he's inconsistent most of the time on offense.
