It looks like Nash already found replacement for Amare. Warick is exactly Amare's what we call "poor mans". He's very athletic he works the pick n' roll and can shoot the ball.
It's early to say but it seems that Nash had a lot of influence on Amare's stats and Warick playing starting minutes will average beastly numbers or even close to Amare's.
In 22mpg he has averaged 14pts and 6.5 rbs. I know it's only 2 games.

So what will your reaction be if Warick averages close numbers to Amare?

Nash made Amar'e great?

He did got him many open looks to the rim but Amar'e is a big, athletic guy who's dominate at offense. Can he actually work with someone who understands defense,he will be the best big man in the league, hands down

Warrick and Amare are a lot alike. Warrick has a little bit of SF in him, but he's still mostly a power forward. Athletic, good off the screen and a decent jumper. A lot like Amare.

Nash didn't make Amar'e. That's just stupid. Nash is a great point and like all great point guards they know where to get you the ball. So Warrick will get shots from Nash that he's never got with any PG he's played with.

Warrick has made good use of his playing time and he's the best option for them at PF. The biggest differences between the two is that Amar'e is consistant and you have to build a game plan against him. Amar'e can create shot and finish in traffic... actually there are a lot of differences between the two.

Warrick won't get you 40+ point games. He doesn't command double teams. He's not a better rebounder. He may be a better defender on pick and rolls, but he isn't a shot blocker or much of a one on one defender.

First game he had 10 pts and 2 rebounds. Then he got 18 and 11. It is just two games. Get back to me when he makes the All-Star game and is on the All-NBA team.

Also since your paying so much attention to Warrick you might notice that the Nash is avg 5 ast a game... and has more turnovers than assist.

I mean if Amar'e went to a team where they have good defensive coaches,he would be the best big man in the league

What's stupid? That Nash had a lot of influence on Amare's stats? That's not even bad. But it's true. Same with Warick. Nash will have a lot of influence on Waricks w/e stats will be. If he starts for them of course.

I have to agree, i never said they are exactly the same, just the fact that they played for the same PG and looked a lot alike so far. Plus Amare is top 5 PF. I'm judging from what i see, i can't predict the future.

Same.

Not close, lol..He's far from being All-Star.

Yes i noticed that too.

I was basically asking and making some points.

I always thought he was a good player, but overrated.

I mean all he does is catch and go up to shoot or layin/dunk. Mind u he is an athletic beast, but he is overrated....

Warrick is doing pretty good with Nash as i expected this year.

His numbers are great if you consider he plays only 24mpg.
12.5pg in 55% shooting, 4.5rpg with 1.5 being offensive, 1apg and turning the ball 1 time.

He has no foul problems and i don't get he's getting only 24mpg, might be his D but still..
In 36mpg his stats look like - 19/7/1.5. Pretty good for a starting player.
