PostSubject: Miller nominated to the Hall of Fame.   Tue Nov 30, 2010 7:04 pm

First topic message reminder :

WTF?!

Okay. I'm not a Reggie Miller fan. Never have been. He deserves to get in... BUT LEADS the nominations?

Dennis Rodman should be the one leading the nominations.

5x champ. 2 x DPOY. 7 first teams All-Defense. 1 2nd team All-Defense. 2 3rd team All NBA (only one less than Miller 3 3rd team All-NBA). 7 straight rebounding titles maxing out at 18.7 rebounds a game. At 6'7 and 215lbs this 2nd round pick was one of the greatest defenders to ever lace 'em up. He guarded blazing fast point guards to hulking centers.

But the article nonchalantly mentions Rodman after Reggie Miller, Mark Jackson, Chris Mullin, Don Nelson, and Bernard King (deserving... but still...) who combine for a total of ZERO NBA rings.

Nelson got rings as a player, but not as a coach...

I just have this feeling that once again Rodman (and Tex Winter) will mysteriously not get into the HoF once again.

While Reggie will probably get in on the first ballot.

I beg to differ,I dont know much but please explain this What was so special about artis gilmore

He averaged 18/12 in his career B sure 12 rebounds is impressive but he was 7-3

He shouldve got more FGA`s..

But he is good but i dont see somethng AMASING about this guy..

He was 7'2

He's No.5 in total boards
No.1 in total defensive boards
No.4 in blocked shots
Chicago Bulls all time leading blocker
NBA All Time leader in FG% (59.9)
All Time leader in FG% 58.2% (Shaq can still surpass that)
Chicago Bulls all time leader in Fg% (has interesting stats in Chicago, such as also 4th in offensive boards,3rd in total boards,3rd in defensive

Reggie Miller is my all-time favourite player, he lead his Pacers teams throughout the 90's to regular ECF during the toughest era to be in the ECF, bulls, Knicks, Magic, Heat etc. he gave the Bulls its only game 7 (im pretty sure) he was a thriller, reggie miller, the knick killer...

when you got the whole of NYC hating on you, you must be good
