No surprise.

I think Deron should get the nod over Paul. Rose over Rondo. Amar'e over KG. Yao shouldn't even have votes... Bynum has time to prove his votes, but I don't think it's gonna' happen after his surgery and because Pau has been the starting center for the Lakers this whole season, but is listed as a forward which sucks because the forwards should be Dirk and Durant.

I'm cool with:
Bryant
Wade
James
Howard... for their respective positions.

East:

I'm okay with the forward picks. You could argue the order.

I am confused about the guard picks. How does wall have 120k votes? How are gilbert arenas and brandon jennings +JJ and JC over Raymond Felton? Shit.. Raymond felton isn't even on there.

C's... it's about what I expected. Howard at first and Shaq at second.

West:

mostly okay with the forward picks. Don't think Caron should be there at all though.

A LOT wrong with the guard picks. Deron williams should be the first PG, RW should be the 3rd PG. Jason kidd shouldn't be there and neither should derek fisher.

For C's... i don't even know what to say.

Amare needs to be in over KG, at least at this point.

Deron should definitely be the starting PG out west.

Dirk Nowitzki deserves a starting spot, but he won't get one.

As far as east guards, as long as it's some combination of Rondo/Rose/Wade, then there's not too big of an issue.

Dwight and Yao will run away with the center voting.

Kobe makes sense.

LeBron makes sense.

What the starters SHOULD look like:

Deron
Kobe
Dirk
Gasol
...doesn't matter

Rondo/Rose
Rose/Wade
LeBron
Amare
Dwight

Btw..Something interesting..
I calculated the starting five of the Lakers(including Bynum) and Celtics(including Shaq) votes and the results are:

Celtics - 1.666.118
Lakers - 1.527.216

I say istead of East vs West do it Celtics vs Lakers.

More fun Very Happy

http://www.nba.com/2010/news/12/30/allstar-ballot-results-2/

2nd results realeased..

Major changes : Carmelo over Gasol. Gasol had 20k more votes now he's trailing about 5k.
Nothing else.

SMH @ (nothing to be surprised about though) :
KG over Amare with so many votes.
Kobe's 1m+ votes.
Noah getting 70k votes this time with less time injured while Yao and Bynum both getting +- 200k votes.

No love :
Raymond Felton
Kinda Blake Griffin

Surprises :
Rondo 50k votes on Rose. Who would think that Rondo had that huge of a fan club? Back then i was about the only Rondo fan in the whole universe, lol.

Prolly more that i didn't notice.

Surprising that the Wizards have two players in the ballot results, while the Cavs have none....

East
C-Dwight Howard/Andrew Bogut
F-Amar'e Stoudemire/Kevin Garnett
F-LeBron James/Danny Granger
G-Dwyane Wade/Joe Johnson
G-Derrick Rose/Rajon Rondo

West
C-Andrew Bynum/Brendan Haywood
F-Dirk Nowitzki/Pau Gasol
F-Carmelo Anthony/Kevin Durant
G-Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
G-Deron Williams/Chris Paul

This is the most accurate starting lineup in my opini
on.

Good: Amare's closing in on KG.

Bad: CP3 over Deron by a landslide (Nash also ahead of Williams)

Bad: Nowtizki, Gasol, Griffin, and Odom all deserve to start over Durant or Carmelo (at least one of them should start in place of those two)

Bad: West centers

Good: East back court is best imaginable

Who should make team:

Rondo/Rose/Felton
Wade/Allen
James/Pierce
Stoudemire/Garnett/Smith
Howard/Horford

Best replacements: Bosh, Chandler, Bargnani, Granger Lopez, Jackson

Deron/CP3/Parker
Kobe/Ginobili
Durant/Melo
Dirk/Odom/Griffin
Gasol/Duncan

Best replacements: Gay, Westbrook, Love, Ellis, Randolph, Nash
