I say Roy Hibbert is the most improved player at this point of the season

Russell Westbrook - went from 16 PPG, 5 RPG, and 8 APG to 22 PPG, 5 RPG, 8 APG, AND is also averaging one more steal a game than he did last year. Really stepped his game up so far and it's evident that he's no longer in KD's shadow.

Kevin Love - went from 14 PPG, 11 RPG, and 2 APG last year to 20 PPG, 15 RPG, and 3 APG this year. Definitely the best rebounder pound-for-pound in the NBA, but he's also shooting 43% on threes for the year, a 10% increase from last year (which is HUGE). If he can continue his rebounding at this rate for the rest of the year, he's my pick for MIP.

Dorell Wright - went from 7 PPG, 3 RPG, and 1 APG last year to 15 PPG, 6 RPG, and 3 APG this year but is also averaging 1 more steal a game and is shooting 42% from the three point line. He has already made more three-pointers this year than he has in all of his years in Miami combined, and although he played limited minutes in Miami it's still amazing to me that he's hit more threes through 1/4th of the season than he has over the course of 5 years. Obviously won't win the MIP because his stats aren't mindblowing, but in my opinion he's still a candidate because he literally doubled his stats in almost everything except shooting.

Michael Beasley - went from 15 PPG, 6 RPG, and 2 APG last year to 22 PPG, 6 RPG, and 2 APG this year, as well as improving his 3PT shooting from 27.5% to 43%. It's obvious that Michael BEASTly has shown great improvement this year, but the only problem I have with him winning the MIP (well, there's two reasons actually) is that one, he hasn't improved in anything except scoring and 3 PT shooting, and two, everyone knew that he was just a beast ready to be released. The same can be (kinda) said about Kevin Love, but even he wasn't expected to get 15 RPG. Beasley had this in him for a long time, and he just needed to be comfortable around his surroundings and boom, he became a 22 PPG scorer. Still a candidate, just a little unlikely to win it all in my opinion.

Honorable Mentions: Tony Parker, JaVale McGee, Paul Millsap, Lamar Odom, Wesley Matthews, Andrea Bargnani.
