New Orleans does have a good defense... but... idk. Even without Horford.. that was bad.

Atlanta is going nowhere, unless they trade Josh Smith / Jamaal Crawford before the trade deadline for Gilbert Arenas, Brandon Bass, and a couple draft picks.

*waits for King to explain how great this trade would be for the Hawks*

before you do, King... Just remember that Josh Smith is A LOT more valuable than Bass and is just better. Arenas hasn't been himself in 3-4 years. Hows that gonna change so suddenly in Atlanta? Plus Jamal Crawford is great off the bench for ATL. And those picks would be shitty picks since they would be late in the first round...

Atlanta would fix their Point Guard and Power Forward position. Josh Smith is undersized, and relies on his athleticism for his defense, which doesn't cut it in the playoffs where shit is serious. Al Horford, revert to his natural position, and if Atlanta can involve a second team (Sacramento) into the trade and get Samuel Dalembert, they would bet much better than they are right now. Jamaal Crawford is too much of a distraction, he wants to be traded.

oh... cuz Brandon Bass is the answer in the playoffs... dumbass...

Jamal Crawford actually wants to stay in Atlanta.. they don't wanna give him an extension... at least not yet.

We'd be downgrading with Bass and yeah Crawford doesn't want a trade he wants to stay a Hawks he's waiting for an extension

yeah... I think I remember him saying he wants to be traded if he doesn't get an extension.. but he wants to stay in ATL. That was said like 4 months ago... I haven't heard much about it since.. so I doubt it's a distraction. He's not trying to force his way out of ATL either... if anything, he's trying to force the team to keep him there long term.

Your first post, you said they should trade for Arenas and Bass.

Your second post, you throw Dalembert in there randomly..

Now you put Haywood into the mix.

wtf?

Josh Smith isn't the answer
True Hawks fans would trade Smith for a PG / C that gives them a chance to
win
