What makes the west so good compared to the east, you have Divisions like the Atlantic Division, where the second place team is likely to be a sub .500 team, then you have the West. Where teams under .500 get no burn or a playoff berth. How come the West has been so dominant?

Any ideas?

Nice point. But it's not coaching. one peak at the rosters and you can clearly see why its a tighter race out west. so maybe Better GM's? ...but its not the coaches

I've always thought of the NBA as a players league... so my answer is that the west is better than the east because they just have the better players.

look at the all-star voting for example... coaches had a tough time picking reserves for the all-star game because they weren't sure who to vote in for the west.

In the east on the other hand, coaches were trying to find people to vote for haha.

Kyrie Irving needs to go to Cleveland in the '12 draft
He would be a good combo with Jared Sullinger

Ceveland might trade down on that pick, of they might just trade J.J. Hickson, no need for two power forwards.

I wonder if Mr. Irving is coming into the draft this year, I heard of him - but never seen him before.
