I know the Cavs will most likely lose...but still...the fact that they won a half of a game against the Lakers is pretty damn impressive in its own right. Also, the Cavs as a team have less turnovers than Derrick Rose against the Warriors. Razz

bad loss? yes.
Embarrassing loss? yes.

but it's just a loss. No big deal.

The Celtics lost to the Cavs and Raptors this year and they're still fine.

I just think the Lakers have become bored playing bad teams in the regular season... or just bored with the regular season in general.

Then again... I'm not a lakers fan. So I don't know how it feels.

It's more than just a loss...the Lakers just lost to the 26-game losing streak Cavaliers. The Celtics lost to the 0-1 Cavaliers. Not only that, but the Lakers have lost over and over again to teams they should beat, and are losing to teams that are just as good or at this point better than them. There was a lot of panic in Lakerland before this, and this loss just accentuates the dis-functionality of the Lakers this season.

It is and it isn't.

It's definitely embarrassing.

My concern really is about the lackluster play.

We get beat by the better teams and get beat by the worst teams.

There is just this look... like you can see the team starting to fall apart. The lack of hunger... or even the coldness to destroy a weak team.

I mean if the Lakers just played three quarters as hard as they played in the last 3 minutes of the game, than this wouldn't of been a close game.

Just another W.

Instead it's a glaring, ugly, taking shit about my momma' L.

Ugh!

This win is a response that went twofold, after losing at home to the Wizards, and also payback for losing to the lakers by 50 which I believe was during the streak. In their last three games they've done three notable things:

1. Last friday vs the Blake Show, they whooped them, to end the losing streak to avoid the toilet bowl on Sunday.

2. Last Sunday vs the Do the John Wall Dougie troupe, they gave the Wizzies their first road win, and played without heart the entire game. Once again, the Cavs fans are thinking, now here's another 26 game losing streak.

3. Yesterday vs the Lake show, they win a hard fought game where kobe and Pau were more interested in w/ All Star Weekend than the game. That contributed to the cavs keeping their home winning streak vs the Lakers alive, I think they won now for 4 yrs straight if I'm not mistaken.

Another thing I wanna add here.

Every bad NBA team is gonna have victories this year against better teams.
Wizards beat the Celtics, Cavs beat the Green too, and the Lakers.

Every great NBA team will lose some games to lesser teams, and even to these bad NBA teams.
Celtics lost to the Wizards and Cavs; Heat lost to Memphis; Lakers lost to Charlotte and Cleveland.

WHY?
There isn't that much of a talent disparity between the worst and best NBA teams. We only have 30 such teams. The Cavs don't have as much talent as the Spurs, but their talent is good enough to a point where it's definitely feasible for the Cavs to beat the Spurs one out of ten times at least. It's not like division 1 college where there are 330 teams, and the best talent wants to play at the same 20-30 schools.... The 330th best college team (let's say Houston Baptist a D-I Indep) will beat the 1st best college team, Duke maybe once every 300 times they play.

and AP gained 4 respect points in my book. You are now at -15 total AP! keep it up!
